Snowblind  opens with Ari Thor Arason, a rookie cop being posted to a remote Icelandic fishing village, far from his home and family.  As a newcomer to an insulated community where secrets, lies, and deception abound, there is abundant mistrust on both sides. It’s exacerbated when two apparently unrelated crimes come to light.  A young woman is found naked, bleeding and unconscious in the snow, while an elderly writer dies after a fall.  As Ari investigates a possible connection, he realizes that he can’t trust anyone, but can he survive while snowblind in the darkness?
