Faulkner, William - Sanctuary

New York, Modern Library, 1932. Faulkner's controversial tale of rape, bootlegging, and murder including the special introduction by the author for this Modern Library edition.  Faulkner claims it to be a 'potboiler' written solely for money, but this may be taken with a grain of salt. NF with light rubbing to extremities. DJ chipped with rear flap detached but present. Closed tear halfway up front flap fold.  $45.00.
