Detzer, Karl - True Tales of the D.C.I.

Indianapolis, Bobbs-Merrill, 1925. The Division of Criminal Investigation was charged with bringing order to post-WWI Europe which was overrun by lawlessness and crime in the chaotic aftermath of the conflict. Author Detzer draws upon his own experience as commander of the Embarkation area extending from Paris to Brent to tell these true tales of postwar law enforcement.  Slight wear to extremities with minor bumping to corners, overall a very nice copy.  $25.00.
