The Mysterious Bookshop has produced an exclusive collection of cards, much in the style of collectible baseball cards, but devoted to covers and dust jackets of the greatest works of mystery and detective fiction. Mystery fiction has a colorful history of extraordinary cover art, and more than sixty high spots are featured in this boxed collection. In addition to such iconic dust jackets as The Maltese Falcon, The Big Sleep, The Postman Always Rings Twice and The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, there are illustrations of such rarely seen dust jackets as A.A. Milne’s The Red House Mystery, the first Saint book, Meet the Tiger, Graham Greene’s Brighton Rock. The reverse of each full-color card contains a description placing it in historical context.
