Sayers, Dorothy L. et al - Double Death

London, Gollancz, 1985. Originally published in 1939, this story is the result of a collaboration between Sayers, Freeman Wills Crofts, Valentine Williams, F. Tennyson Jesse, Anthony Armstrong, and David Hume. Ms. Sayers starts things off in the first chapter, then the other authors take their turns, one chapter at a time. Each of the authors' notes on the story is included, and because they were not intended for publication, they have a kind of gruff honesty that is entertaining. Wealthy widow Mrs. Farland is slowly being poisoned.  Or is she a hypochondriac? She engages a nurse who is indeed poisoned, but it's just the beginning!  Fine in fine dust jacket with tiny blemish to front board, scarcely noticeable. $20.00.
