The Mysterious Bookshop

George Bellairs - The Case of the Seven Whistlers

New York, Macmillan, 1948. Stated first printing.  Wear to extremities, corners slightly bumped.  Bookseller's inkstamp to front pastedown. Several pages creased. Small open tears to DJ with chipping to spine ends and to extremities.  Old maid Adlestrop buys a vintage trunk at the antique shop of Small and Grossman.  Imagine her surprise when she finds Mr. Grossman stuffed inside it--stone cold dead!  Inspector Littlejohn is on the case. $10.00
