Durrant, Theo - The Marble Forest

New York, Knopf, 1951. First edition.  A marble forest of tombstones is the grim scene of Rod Barratt, who is seeking his young daughter. She has been kidnapped and buried alive in a coffin and her father is racing against time to rescue her. Light wear to DJ extremities and a blue stripe from the Brodart cover. Small stain to DJ spine. $36.00.
